Sometimes, Less is More

Not “I feel great”, “I am cured”, “I am a new person”, “I no longer have pain”, etc.

Just simply, “I actually feel good”.

The Case

I would argue, given the circumstances in this particular case, that “I actually feel good” is a greater achievement than any of the more profound declarations in the first sentence of this post.

You see, to hear these words from the mouth of a young mother, daughter and wife who has largely felt nothing (other than physical and mental anguish) for so long is a clear indication of a new lease on life… a fresh start… a sign of better things to come!

For someone who has suffered multiple adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and battled with anxiety, depression, PTSD, brain injury and chronic health issues most of their life; “I actually feel good” is an amazing place to be.

And, this was all accomplished through safe, effective and drug-free brain-based therapies!

Recognize the Problem

So many around us, many you know personally, suffer in silence as their mental and physical health crumbles; whether more recently or something they’ve harbored most of their lives as with this individual.

It is important to recognize and act on the warning signs of those suffering, so they can get the help they need to “actually feel good” again.

Signs like:

  • Trouble with concentration, focus, memory and decision making
  • Unhappy all the time
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Insomnia
  • Irritability
  • Physical pain that won’t go away
  • Nervousness/Anxiety
  • Loss of interest in previously pleasurable activities
  • Social withdrawal
  • Excessive technology usage
  • Turning often to substances or risky behaviors

Feel Good Again

As the family of this individual did, don’t wait until it’s too late to recognize these signs and more and call us today at 828.708.5274 or email info@apexbraincenters.com to set up a free consultation with the doctor to discuss effective, drug-free options for your loved ones. Help them to “actually feel good” again!
